Back from Mumbai (aka Bombay)

IMG_1689.jpg

I recently got a chance to attend a friends wedding in Mumbai, India. What an experience! My wife and I set out on th’e 20+ hour trip to BOM (me through Amsterdam, her through Zurich) on the 13th, and arrived in what was definitely the closest thing to “culture shock” i’ve ever experienced.

I thought I would let my photos do most of the talking:

The wedding was amazing, so much music, dancing, food and color!

The streets of Mumbai were very crowded and chaotic…

almost all night long.

Mumbai has beautiful beaches (though we were told not to get into the water).

People are on the street selling anything and everything.

The outfits for the ladies have so much color!

The streets were filled with people and shops.

Just a little over a week, not long enough! We have a little one at home and that’s all the time we could stand to be away from him.

Hopefully next time we can bring him along.
